Description

Ideal for a south or south-west facing garden, this will perform well with some support and is less vigorous than other honeysuckles so a good choice to pair with a contrasting clematis or other climber. It has semi-evergreen rounded foliage and brilliant scarlet and orange trumpet flowers. Unscented but produces fabulous red berries which garden birds will enjoy.

Care Tips

Plant slightly away from a wall or fence line where it will receive rainfall. Mulch in autumn. Cut back established plants after flowering if they outgrow the available space, removing up to a third of the flowering shoots.
