Description
‘Serotina’ is one of those classic honeysuckles that looks just like the dark-rich crimson throated ones you see growing wild in hedgerows and roadsides with that exquisite smell. We all have room for at least one more honeysuckle in dappled shade, threaded to climb through a hedge, or over a garden trellis or wall.
Care Tips
Plant slightly away from a wall or fence line where it will receive rainfall. Mulch in autumn. Cut back established plants after flowering if they outgrow the available space, removing up to a third of the flowering shoots.
