We have this species lily growing in a pot on the barn steps at Perch Hill and it’s extraordinary, statuesque yet delicate, jewel-like without a hint of gaudy, like the true wild lily it is.

Care Tips

Likes a cool root run. Plant in borders or in a pot sunk into the ground which can be lifted out of the wet and cold until the following spring. Plants may be affected by lily beetle, so keep your eyes peeled!
