Plant in any good garden soil that is preferably moist but not waterlogged. In drier soils, dig in well-rotted organic matter before planting, then apply as a mulch each spring.

Description

Easy to grow and good for naturalising, this is one of the new Peacock Butterfly series, sibirica types with showy, bold and unusual coloured petals. 'Miss Apple' blooms combine soft mauve with deep purple and rich golden centres.
