Gone are the days when chrysanthemums had to be those ugly, formal things with a central golden disc with whorls of petals neatly arranged around their edge. Here you have a bunch of soft-coloured, curvy petalled beauties, all the more invaluable because they flower right through the autumn. And if you have room to bring them somewhere inside, you’ll have a cut-and-come-again flower crop until Christmas. I absolutely love this new collection. This collection contains:
- 3 or 6 rooted cuttings of Chrysanthemum 'Avignon Pink'
- 1 or 2 rooted cuttings of Chrysanthemum 'Allouise Salmon'
- 1 or 2 rooted cuttings of Chrysanthemum 'Pandion Bronze'
Put up rooted cuttings and grown on in a bright, frost-free place. Early-flowering varieties can be hardened off and planted out in May. Later ones are best planted in large pots so they can be outside in summer but moved indoors in autumn.
