Description

By far the best form of oregano you can grow for flavour and aroma. Most of us are familiar with the common culinary herb, but this sub-species from Greece is delicious with a much stronger fragrance. It also makes a great companion plant for anything in the cucumber family, improving the flavour of nearby plants.

Care Tips

Requires a rather dry, warm, well-drained soil in full sun, but is not fussy as to soil type, thriving on chalk, tolerating poor soils but dislikes wet ground.
