Plant 20-25cm (8-10in) deep, 30cm (12in) apart.
Cultivation
Plant 20cm deep, 30cm apart in spring in fertile, well-drained soil. A sunny, sheltered position is ideal. Mulch in colder areas to protect from frosts. May also be planted in a large container and overwintered in a greenhouse or conservatory.

Care Tips

Stop watering from late autumn to allow a dormant period, beginning again in spring. It is also a good idea to add some organic fertiliser in early spring and give an occasional liquid feed when watering.
