Description

This is a compact, vigorous, clump-forming variety of bleeding heart with deep wine-red heart shaped flowers on slender arching stems.

It’s easy to grow and if you remove spent blooms it will keep producing flowers from late spring right through summer.

A good choice for a shady spot but will also tolerate sun, as long as the soil is kept moist.

Care Tips

Lift and divide large clumps in late autumn when the leaves have died down, taking care not to damage the roots.
