Description

A winter-flowering clematis that once established begins to bloom in the depths of winter when little else does - perfect winter cheer for the garden. The nodding bell-shaped flowers are pale lime green when first open maturing to an Ivory-cream with a hint of citrus scent. A semi-evergreen climber that requires a sunny, sheltered well drained position. Pick the flowers for a Christmas table arrangement with other evergreen foliage.

Care Tips

Pruning Group 1 - no regular pruning needed. Plant in a sheltered place against a warm house wall as it is slightly tender. May lose leaves and go dormant during summer but will bounce back in autumn.
