This was my favourite pot combination in the whole garden in 2019, the frill of brilliant pelargonium, with the saucer froth of argyranthemums and tubes of cuphea to fill in. All three are extremely drought tolerant and need only very occasional dead-heading, absolute stalwarts, but glamorous and beautiful with it. This is a top ranker for me.This collection contains:
- 3 young plants of Pelargonium 'Shrubland Rose' (Scented)
- 5 rooted cuttings of Argyranthemum frutescens 'Grandaisy Deep Red'
- 5 rooted cuttings of Cuphea caeciliae
Water plants well in summer and deadhead to encourage a second flush of flowers. Lift the plants and pot them up inside before the frost, cutting the top growth back by one third as you do so.
