Battery fairy lights are a brilliant thing for twinkling up a wreath – or table centre – where you don't want wires, but they normally romp through the batteries and so end up costing a fortune...

Not these – a set of 25 warm-white LEDs – which are the brightest, best and longest lasting of any we've trialled. I use them all the time at Christmas.

  • Set takes 3 x AA batteries (not included), lasts 20 hours
  • L. 2.2m, of which 1.9m is illuminated

Please note: These lights should be used under a sheltered porch as they are not waterproof.
