Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow indoors spring or autumn. Once seedlings emerge, pot on and move to a cooler position before planting out into fertile, well-drained soil and watering well. Ideal for containers and edging paths to soften the edges.
Care Tips Incorporate a slow-release fertiliser or give a balanced liquid feed every 2-3 weeks. Deadhead or pick regularly to prolong flowering and maintain a compact shape. If plants become leggy, a mid-season chop in July to 5cm (2in) above ground-level will help promote bushy re-growth.

Lovely easy to grow Violas - flowered within a couple of weeks of planting out in May, and are still flowering now in August with regular dead heading and cutting back. Bees love them, very pleased.
