Pure white, Black-eyed-Susan for trailing over the edge of a pot or clambering over an arch or teepee. Planted as the central point in the Sissinghurst white garden.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow indoors late autumn-late winter or sow directly in spring. Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Cover seed with 10mm vermiculite. Plant out after the last frosts, prefers a sheltered sunny spot with moist but well-drained soil. May also be grown in containers or hanging baskets. Provide support if growing as a climber.
Care Tips Water freely and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser once a month. Will require protection from frosts unless grown as an annual.

Quite weak seedlings generally and not the best condition plants, two of which died very quickly once potted on.

These seedlings sadly have not flourished at all. I planted them in different parts of the garden but none have grown more than a few inches.. don’t know why

Plants in good condition on receipt. Packed well. All plants are still thriving in the garden, especially the purple Bells, which still has masses of flowers
