Sowing, Seeds, Planting | Sow direct. Sow into prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Germination takes 10-14 days. May be sown in September for earlier flowering next year. |
Care Tips | If deadheaded, you will get a second flush of blooms. Seeds are set as early as June right through to August. It is a good coloniser of bare ground. However, as a pioneer plant it does not like nutrient rich soils and so numbers will decrease on rich soil. |
