Description

A cheery and pretty mix of antirrhinums (or snapdragons) which excelled in our trials last summer, giving us endless buckets of flowers for a three month stretch. I found the colours brilliant, mixed up together, or picked as single colours for combining with other flowers — versatile and hard-working, with a superb vase life.

Antirrhinum flowers are edible and can be used to decorate puddings, cakes or party cocktails. They are not to everyone's taste as they are slightly bitter, but they're completely safe to eat.

Care Tips

Choose a spot in full sun or light shade, ideally with moist but well-drained soil. For growing in pots, use as large a container as possible. Keep picking (not to the ground but to above a pair of leaves), and these will keep flowering.
