Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow direct and keep soil moist until germination. May need to over winter before germinates. Sow under cover onto soil based compost and lightly cover with grit. May need warm-cold-warm cycle.
Care Tips Once blooms have faded, resist cutting plants back and allow seed heads to dry out. This will give a fantastic autumnal display which can then be cut for arrangements.

I saw these growing in the white garden at Kensington place last spring and just loved them.
To my utter delight it turned out I had bought 5 plants in the previous SR late summer sale, put them in then forgot what they were.
Have now collected the seeds and will try to grow my own.
