Zinnia 'Giant Purple Prince' is the most incredible huge and spectacular zinnia in a bright pink-purple. A few years ago we had it inter-planted with Cosmos 'Dazzler' and purple and pink cleomes in one place and with artichokes in another and both looked marvellous.

Spacing Plant 30cm (12in) apart.
Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow under cover in individual cells in mid spring (zinnias dislike root disturbance). Pinch out tips as you plant out after last frosts, or direct sow in May-June. Do not overwater.
Care Tips It has a tendency to botrytis (a reason to think of using Bordeaux mixture or Sulphur). This can be grown in a container pot.
Flowering July - first frosts, 12-14 weeks from sowing.
Vase Life 7 days. Strip bottom leaves.
Harvesting Flower production: 3 months.
