Plants were healthy when they arrived but I found the double dark ones were too heavy for the stems and so they all faced downwards therefore not a great cut flower. Will stick to Purity next time.

All the Cosmos seedlings survived and flourished well to produce a good display through the summer. Have just dug them up! It was a good way to have Cosmos in the garden as the hassle of trying to grow seeds was left to you, the professionals, and I had the joy of growing them on.
Although I now have my own greenhouse I would still choose this way of ‘growing’ the more demanding of seeds.

The White Single Cosmos were absolutely amazing. There were giants that kept on flowering. Not so keen on the doubles - small and a bit messy.

Both the white and purple have done exceptionally well this summer and with continual dead-heading are still producing new flowers now in October. Will get them again next year.

Overall a nice mix of colour, although the sizing of the different varieties turned out slightly problematic in the garden where they were planted.

The cosmos grew over a meter high, the cranberry dick and single magenta ones were fabulous ,flowered early but the white psychic only started to flower from mid August..but were large also. The ones planted in full sun were best. The hot summer helped but as soon as we had rain , they fell over but still continued to look great.

The courgettes were great fun (3 varieties) and if not eaten I used them like flowers to decorate the fruit bowl....especially when I missed some to pick and they were enormous! It was so exciting to go into the garden and see what had grown! Yellow soleil were my favourite to eat but romanesco looked great.

The acanthus were a little disappointing but may be better next year as not an annual.
Look forward to next year.....service was helpful especially when I was worried about the first few courgettes rotting.

I bought a whole bunch of plug plants and tubers in Spring, all for a clients cutting garden. I grew the plant on until they were 2/3Litre pot size. The plants were all good, strong and sturdy and I only have two that died off in around 275 plants. I was dissappointed with the dahlias though as the not all came true as per the label. I certainly didnt get the Labyrinth that I ordered.

Good on the whole but again, the drought meant they didn’t perform quite as well as they would normally. Relying on a neighbour’s watering while we were away is never easy!
Plants very healthy-looking on their arrival.

all the cosmos were lovely - but especially the white, tinted pink ones, which grew amazingly tall - and deadheading them just made them produce more lovely blooms. A big hit in my garden.

I sowed these seeds 17 April, in an unheated greenhouse as I had been away (but in any case spring was so cold this year.) From one packet of 100 seeds today on 1 June I have 96 strong healthy plants that are already 20cm - 25cm tall. I a!ways buy Sarah Raven seeds as the germination rate is so good, giving me lots of plants to share with family and friends. Looking forward to masses of flowers in the summer.
