Consolida 'Dark Blue' (Larkspur) has flower spikes in the darkest, richest blue. It has an excellent vase life too, looking good for 10 days if kept cool. This looks beautiful growing and arranged with either of the ammis.

Consolida are annual delphiniums which flower longer and harder than the perennial forms.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Germination can be better if seed pack is placed in freezer for one week before sowing. Sow inside February-April and lightly cover with vermiculite, or direct sow April-May and/or late August-September.
Care Tips Stake plants and feed twice during growth period. Add in plenty of manure before planting.

These take on a fabulous two tone shade, they are easy to grow and have a really long flowering time,a great addition to my cutting patch!
