In the summer months this handsome upright shrub has clusters of nodding, bell-shaped, red-veined pinky white blooms but it’s later in the year when it really comes into its own. You get spectacular autumn colour as the foliage turns into a bonfire of orange, vermillion and flame-red. Unbeatable.
