With striking hot pink flowers for up to 4 months at a stretch, you’ll find it covered with butterflies all through summer.

I grew this in summer 2018 as part of my "bee balcony" – a pot-garden of pollinator-favourites on a sunny, fourth-floor London balcony. The colour is stunning, it's ideally compact for container-gardening, and the bees and butterflies love it! What I learnt: don't overwater or let stand in water, line the bottom of your well-draining container with plenty of crock, and yours will thrive.

Tiny plant when it arrived but managed to nurture it to 30cm and it did produce a few flowers. Hopefully it’ll be better next year. Lovely colour.

I bought one of these earlier this year and it has been great. It is still flowering prolifically and looking wonderful and has required only minimal deadheading and care.

I purchased 2 plants one was a good size and most importantly a good shape the second was not it was an odd shape and partly broken and needed a little TLC.

This variety has not grown very well and I have had only a few small flowers.
