An excellent performing, vigorous climbing rose with deep crimson blooms and great scent. It flowers first in June then again later in the summer. Grow this up a wall or fence for a fabulous display.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Plant in full sun/ partial shade in well-drained soil. Avoid sites where other roses have grown previously.
Care Tips Deadhead in summer after flowering, prune in winter. Water well until established, add fertiliser and mulch each spring.

Hello, Some years ago I planted Etoile against a farmhouse wall in Dorset. It proved to be a great choice, what a beauty. Plenty of sunshine seems to suit this specimen - an abundance of flowers well into Autumn. It had little shelter from winter winds and at times received rough treatment. It proved robust. A good specimen in the right spot. Welcoming and unforgettable.......
