One of my new-found favourite dahlias which I jumped on in a huge dahlia trial field in Holland last summer – like coral in form and colour – it seems to go with everything.

Our dahlias:

  • are first class, healthy tubers – the largest and best you can buy.
  • come with full planting, spacing and cultivating instructions for beginner gardeners
  • tubers should be potted up when they arrive and be kept in a light, frost-free place until the frosts are over and then be planted into the garden.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Pot them up undercover March or early April. Place them in a light, frost-free place and keep the compost moist.
Care Tips Support with a stout stick, tie in every couple of weeks. Dead-head regularly to prolong flowering. In the south you can mulch deeply and overwinter them in the ground.

Bulb Delivery - When in stock, outdoor bulbs are normally despatched within 2-3 working days. During the busy months of February and September/October, it can take up to two weeks for delivery, due to the number of orders being processed. I'm so pleased I decided to try Burlesca this season. The flowers are a lovely pinky-red and subtly change in the vase to a bicolour pastel appearance that is difficult to describe. There are plenty of flowers and they keep on coming. A keeper!
