Pale primrose-yellow flowers open to pure white, speckled on the inside. If you remove the flower spikes as they start to fade, and you will encourage stronger flowers in the second year. This comes from the F1 hybrid 'Dalmatian' series, bred to flower in the first year of planting and ground-breaking for that. Lovely in the border and vase.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting | Foxgloves will grow in most soils (except very wet or very dry) but prefer fertile soil in a semi-shaded spot. To help plants establish sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base of the planting hole. See our advice pages for a guide to sowing and growing foxgloves. |
Care Tips | Remove the first flower spike early to encourage more 'prince' flowers from the base. Will self-seed. Caution: All parts of this plant are highly toxic if ingested. |
