Plant in any good garden soil that is preferably moist but not waterlogged. In drier soils, dig in well-rotted organic matter before planting, then apply as a mulch each spring.

Description

Siberica types are incredibly easy to grow, excellent for naturalising and good for cutting. This one has beautiful, exotic looking flowers in mauve and gold, like a watercolour painting of a stormy sky.

Care Tips

Remove any dying foliage in autumn, old flower stems can be cut down after flowering
