Some may say OTT, but I love this crazy powder-puff hollyhock as a dot plant through a border and cut (with stem ends seared for 20 seconds) for a magnificent vase. If overcrowded this is short-lived, so plant it beside a path or at the base of a wall.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Plant in spring or autumn, sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base of the planting hole and water well after planting.
Care Tips Hollyhocks do have a tendency to rust; Copper Mixture will keep this at bay. Provide support to protect from wind and rain.

It has a very tall flower stem with beautiful colour flowers. There is a second shorter stem of flowers ready to flower.
