The ever-flowering, bottle-brush plant, which first comes into bloom first with the matching tulip, ‘Mistress Mystic’, in dappled shade beneath our apple tree. It then flowers on and off all summer.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Ideal for problem areas of the garden where the soil remains moist, although the plant is adaptable to well drained soils in sun or shade. Plant it in bold blocks to add vertical interest and great ground cover in the border, give it plenty of space.
Care Tips Can be vigorous in ideal conditions, so lift and divide every 3 years.
