P. ‘Karine' is one of the finest Oriental poppies of all, bearing lots of natural looking dainty pale pink saucers held on tall stems. The delicate, single flowers are open and shallow-cupped with petals that shrug off rain, not ruffled and blowsy like many of the other cultivars in this species.
