A small, early flowering form of the wonderful Christmas rose (Helleborus niger), which I love for picking all through winter and often use to decorate our Christmas table. With this petite form, it makes a brilliant winter houseplant. Once it’s finished flowering, you can plant it out.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting | Plant in moist but well-drained soil in partial shade, incorporating plenty of organic matter into the planting area. Sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base of the planting hole. |
Care Tips | Mulch annually in the autumn. Remove faded foliage as the flowers appear. |
