When this arrived as a bare root, I did not get the info that bare roots should be soaked before planting until some time later, so did not soak it. I also could not work out which way round to plant it ie which was the top and which the bottom. Nevertheless, I planted it on a very cold winters day, because the info did tell me to plant it immediately.

To my delight a few weeks later it appeared above the ground. I could not believe the delicate stalks could support the pretty green leaves, but they have and it is thriving.

I am looking forward to the leaves turning orange in the Autumn and the flowers next Spring.

Sickly specimen which never grew.A lot of persuasion on my part to get a refund even though I had photographic evidence of the bare root that never grew.
This is not the first time at have had problems with the quality of plants .I keep giving the company more champ cels but think this will be the last.
