This rare and unusual plectranthus with its sultry, purple undersided leaves is perfect with the cheery fuchsia hanging above it to make a brilliant tender perennial pot pairing for sun or dappled shade (as here under an oak at Perch Hill).

If you bring these pots undercover for winter, they'll reappear reliably next spring.

Care Tips Reliably hardy if kept away from winter wet, we keep them in cold tunnels in winter. Keep taking off the dead flowers and they flower from lower branches for a long period. Cut back in winter.
