This lupin and 'Beefeater' were the making of our Chelsea Cutting Garden. They dominated the most prominent corner and stole the show.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Dig a planting hole in well-drained soil. Sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base of the planting hole and water well after planting. Plant and firm in place. Water in well and protect from slugs and snails.
Care Tips Remove flowers as soon as they go over to encourage a late season bloom. Watch out for aphids between April and September, rub them off by hand or with a blast of water, badly infested flower spikes can be removed.
Flowering June - July
Vase Life Sear stem ends in boiling water for 15 seconds.

Very good customer service as usual. Lupins have suffered a little in hot summer, even though well looked after.
