A strange and beautiful colour similar to the tulip ‘La Belle Epoque’, sort of milky-coffee, touched with mauve. This is quite new to us but appears to be strong and flowery and has been recommended to me by lots of cut flower growers.

Type Deciduous Shrub
Common Name Rose

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Before planting bare root roses, soak roots in a bucket of water for at least two hours. Prune any damaged roots and dig a hole 30-45cm (12-18in) deep and 60cm (24in) wide. Roses like heavy compact soil, so be sure to heel them in well. To aid quick establishment, sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base of the planting hole.
Care Tips Deadhead in summer after flowering, prune in winter. Water well until established, add fertiliser and mulch each spring.
Flowering June - September
Vase Life Sear stem ends in boiling water for 10 seconds and rest in water, cool and dark overnight before arranging. Vase life 5 days.
Harvesting Flower production: 3-4 months
