Oh how I love an osteo and that’s why I had one plant of each running down the table outside my kitchen all last summer. It’s baking hot there and pretty exposed, but these tough, drought tolerant plants put up with it, thrived, looked flowery, colourful and gorgeous.

This collection contains 2 plants each of:
Type Perennial (grown as an annual)
Border Position Container Garden
Soil Type Broad Tolerance
Site Full Sun
Moisture Well-drained
Height 30cm (12in)
Sowing, Seeds, Planting Space all plants evenly and position for effect depending on the size and shape of your container. Plant plugs slightly proud of the surface in a bright position, use fresh peat-free multipurpose compost and add crocks for drainage. Plant out after the risk of frosts.
Care Tips Water and deadhead as often as you can and start a weekly feed after about a month. The plants will need protection from early frosts, so keep somewhere frost-free in the spring or carefully bring inside before the cool temperatures at night cause frost damage.
