Ideal for shady woodland planting. Plant in groups of 3 or more. Sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base of the planting hole and water well after planting.

Mottled silvery leaves with stunning deep-blue flowers – a particularly dark, rich form.

Please note weather conditions do affect the pigmentation when the bud is being developed, so there may be an amount of pink flowers this season. We would expect that flowers produced later in the season will become more blue than pink and have the lovely deep blue colouring expected.

Care Tips

Best in a moisture retentive soil to avoid mildew. Cut back after flowering for a flush of new leaves and divide every 3-5 years.
