This is a compact, vigorous, clump-forming variety of bleeding heart with deep wine-red heart shaped flowers on slender arching stems.
It’s easy to grow and if you remove spent blooms it will keep producing flowers from late spring right through summer.
A good choice for a shady spot but will also tolerate sun, as long as the soil is kept moist.

Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Lindsay This was a very small plant and never flourished at all. However I may try again because at my previous home it grew like a weed in pink. It flowered all summer and we bought it as a plant that does well in shade. Worth anther try to see if it is a larger plant. |
