Alstroemerias are one of the longest and hardest performing plants you can grow. We planted a trial bed 5 years ago and have been growing them ever since – they are incredible.

Pull the flowers, like picking rhubarb, rather than cut them and they'll produce more and more. Excellent for the border and for picking.

Care Tips Add a slow-release fertiliser in the spring, and water regularly in dry weather. Mulch deeply in the North.

I love Alstoemeria they are a favourite of mine and i love the pale shades of the Alstoemeria collection, but these flowers grow very tall and i'm not sure if they would be suitable for my garden.
