Viburnum opulus 'Roseum' is my absolute favourite foliage plant for late spring, early summer picking. From early May, this is covered in bright acid-green fluffy footballs and elegant indented leaves. As the flowers mature, they move through creamy-green into pure white.
Sear the stem end in boiling water for 45 seconds and it will last for 2 weeks in a vase. It also forms the best backdrop for tulips and wallflowers in the garden.

Viburnum opulus 'Roseum' syn. 'Sterile' reviews
Reviewed 15th November 2018 by Patrick As a relatively new customer to Sarah Raven I have been really impressed by the quality and customer service. The viburnum opulus was healthy and packaged perfectly. The plant was healthy and is now established in a large container and had a lot of blooms this year. |

Reviewed 29th August 2018 by Mrs Seabrook Looks healthy, not as shapely as I'd hoped. May I comment on the drum of mixed seeds I purchased earlier in the year? They cost £9 + and were a total disaster. there were 2 blue borage plants among them and the rest were magenta, bright pink and paler pink ?night scented stocks together with alyssum and mallow which grew to about 7ft. My apologies if I ordered the wrong thing but I thought I'd ordered a gentle mix of blue and white for the end of my semi wild lawn. Hopefully they won't seed and I am digging out the mallow as fast as I can as it is all resprouting. |
Great for foliage
Reviewed 24th April 2017 by Oana Harrison I got this shrub because I really wanted it in my wedding bouquet. It's only in its first few months ( planted it this autumn) but is already performed ng very well. I just love the acid green little flower balls! |
