One of the most intensely coloured of all sea hollies which is very Good for Cutting –  the large flowers are fantastic used fresh in arrangements, but they also dry very well, if cut before the blooms are fully open. This plant is also very drought tolerant, but will do best in well-drained soil in a sunny spot.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Plant out in spring or autumn into moderately fertile (can cope with poor soils too), well drained soil in full sun. Colour deepens in sunniest position.
