Took a while to get going - the hot weather intervened and it was hard to keep them growing when transplanted, They are wonderful now (Sept)

Invaluable addition to my cutting patch

Bought 5 seedlings in case my own sowings didn't do well. I needn't have worried, we've had vases and vases of these in beautiful shades of pink. Can't believe how easy they've been to grow. They'll be in my cutting patch every year now. Love them!

The first seedlings I received were very small so Sarah Raven sent 5 more which were much better quality. When they flowered they weren't all pink but they were very pretty.

See previous comments on antirrhinums re weather conditions. Sweet peas have been good, still picking small bunches.

I understood these to be one shade of strong pink. They have turned out to be pale and even white. The white not being as beautiful as the tall that I had last year. I am probably not going to repeat these. I was unhappy with cosmos Picotee this year, only one really thrived the others still very tiny. One other appeared to have seeded from last year which was surprising. The Purity are beautiful but the plain pink are again a bit behind.

practically all the seeds germinated, so I had a bumper crop. They’ve grown well in my cutting patch and I’ve had several vases full already, and the plants are still going strong. Definately will grow again next year.
