Baptisia 'Grape Taffy' reviews
Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Sophie These plants were sent as replacements for some i bought last year which for some reason didn't thrive. I didn't request them but you kindly sent them when I had reviewed them last time. They are all alive but not as robust as I hoped they would be by this time of year. i suspect it is something to do with my soil which is quite sandy so very free draining. I will keep an eye on them and learn from them as to whether I can grow them in future. As a garden designer, i use my garden as a trial bed before suggesting plants to clients so I feel that some I win and some I lose, as they say! |

Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Virginia plants in 9cm pots still effectively plugs far too small and did not survive I will never buy plants from Sarah Raven again when bought as plugs good and bulbs excellent seeds poor germination when I complained a replacement was provided but it too was far to young to be sold as 9cm and did not survive |
Reviewed 8th November 2018 by Ann No growth, the plant just disappeared! Not sure whether this had something to do with the very late delivery. |
Reviewed 3rd October 2018 by Nicola Service good however the plant arrived looking like a dead stick although the roots were alive. Sadly it has not grown and is definitely dead. Very dissapointed as it looked lovely in the picture. Not sure the supplier should have sent such a poor specimin especially as the weather was not good at the time. Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:"We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with regard to the Baptisia. Please be advised, all our plants are covered by our plant guarantee. Should you ever receive a plant that you feel is not acceptable, please contact Customer Services on 0345 092 0283 in order for us to discuss the matter and so we can assist you further." Reviewed 3rd October 2018 by Sophie i feel this is rather an unfair survey as i ordered these plants early in the year and they arrived at the same time as the Beast from the East, Consequently, two withered and died very quickly and the third, which was doing all right but not thriving, has been nibbled by a rabbit so it is destined to be a bit slow! i therefore can't rate it any higher and will probably try again with new plants as they would be a great addition to my border. Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:"Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear that 2 of your baptisia have failed to thrive and have arranged for replacement plants to be sent out when available next spring. For future orders , please contact us at the time of any problems with your products and we will be happy to arrange replacements for you." Posted 7th November 2018 |
