An exceptional upright variety producing masses of dark, chocolatey purple, semi-double flowers throughout the summer into early autumn.

A perfect choice for a summer container.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Plant out after risk of frosts into well drained compost.
Care Tips During spring and summer water moderately and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser. Change to a high potash fertiliser when in flower. Water sparingly in winter. If kept frost free, one plant can come back year after year, looking bigger and better each time.

The first plant the was delivered was not viable and soon died; a replacement was sent and that one was clearly a recent cutting that was extremely small and not at all robust. I tried my best to nurture it but it was just too small and weak and I threw it on the compost heap yesterday... it never produced a real set of leaves!
