Spectacular, zingy-bright new nasturtium with edible flowers, leaves, buds and seed pods. It's a compact, non-climbing variety.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow indoors March-April and plant out after last frosts, or direct sow May-July about 2cm (1in) deep in lines or blocks 30cm (8in) apart. They thrive in poor soil.
Care Tips Feed and deadhead to prolong the flowering period. This can be grown in a container pot, and will need a supporting frame.
Flowering June - October, 10-12 weeks from sowing
Vase Life 5 days.
Harvesting Flower production: 4-5 months.
Cooking Notes The leaves and flowers are edible, with a peppery flavour.

These took a while to get going due to a wet spring and the usual challenges of gardening in the high Pennines but mid september sees them scrambling through my gooseberry bushes and cheering up the path edges. I will definitely be growing these again next year. Lovely.
