These look lovely growing together in a container pot. Euphorbia ‘Diamond Frost’ is an amazing foliage plant – beautiful and delicate and it goes brilliantly with the bright rich pink of trailing Verbena ‘Sissinghurst’.
The young plant/rooted cutting collection contains:Border Position | Container Garden |
Soil Type | Broad Tolerance |
Scent | Unscented |
Site | Full Sun |
Moisture | Moist but Well-drained |
Height | 30cm (12in) |
Spacing | 30cm (12in) - Trailing |
Sowing, Seeds, Planting | Space all plants evenly and position for effect depending on the size and shape of your container. Plant plugs slightly proud of the surface in a bright position, use fresh peat-free multipurpose compost and add crocks for drainage. Plant out after the risk of frosts. |
Care Tips | Keep moist until established and apply a liquid feed fortnightly through the summer. Deadhead flowers regularly to encourage repeat flowering all summer long. |

Reviewed 2nd September 2018 by Margaret Good plants but the euphorbias didn't get going for a long time and the verbenas reached their best early and. in spite of deadheading never really did well from the middle of July on. Verbenas usually do well here but I wouldn't get the euphorbias again. |
Reviewed 29th August 2018 by Ann Euphoria a great success, much admired. Verbena OK but I should probably have dead headed it more |
