I purchased ten of these plants and am extremely disappointed that NONE of the plants have thrived. At the time of writing this only one plant is limping on and it looks like it will perish within the next few days. The plants arrived in good condition and I grew them on in my greenhouse. I planted them out- some into flower borders and some into pots with fertiliser granules and they were watered regularly and had plenty of sunshine. They were bushy and I was looking forward to a good display however one by one they have all withered and died.

Another disappointment was that they do not flower as the colour shown in the catalogue. The catalogue photo shows them as a deep bright pink whereas the plants that survived long enough to flower were definitely crimson. I would have thought it was possible to have catalogue pictures that more accurately showed colour of blooms.

I have written to Sarah Raven about these disappointing plants and included photographs. Despite requesting a response I have had no communication from Sarah Raven which leaves me a very unhappy customer who will definitely think twice about purchasing from the company again.

These are absolutely gorgeous flowers and very productive plants. Only downside is that they are thirsty and quite quickly show signs of drought in the leaf colour if not watered liberally and regularly.

Rather small cuttings for the price - they developed into medium sized plants - with not many branches - would have expected them to be better and fuller of flowers. I thought as well that they are not as dark purple as they are - looked different in the catalogue to me. As I interplanted them with my lavender a lighter purple to pink was what I was aiming for - and would have looked better in my opinion.
