My first and - only- disappointment from Sarah Raven. The plants arrived a few weeks after I placed my order, I had to contact them to make sure they had not forgotten me! When I eventually received the plants, one of the lavender plants was only a tiny plant , looking very sad. When I contacted SR, an apology came and plant replaced. However, the other 2 quickly degenerated and never produced much. They are now looking very stunted and sad.

THE FLOWERS WILL HAVE FINISHED BY THE TIME THE LAVENDER BLOOMS. NOT VERY WELL MATCHED.

The argyranthemum were lovely earlier in the season - a stunning shade of red and with a shine to the petals. However, with the heat, the blooms have become a bit dull-looking, but they are still flowering. Unfortunately, the lavender plants have remained very small all along - tiny in fact, so the effect of the two types of plants together has not been at all what was expected. I am hoping to salvage the lavender plants to use in coming seasons, but will have to wait and see on that one.

VERY DISAPPOINTING QUALITY so much so I haven't ordered anything else. I have always been pleased in the past and have recommended you to friends and family. After this year I have thought twice> Sorry

The lavender has grown well but hasn't flowered yet, perhaps the compost was too rich? The Argyranthemum has flowered non-stop but isn't very attractive as it needed the lavender to calm it down. Not all lost through as I have 5 healthy lavender plants to pot on.

The argyranthemum flowered briefly in the summer, lavender only coming to life now.

Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:

"Thank you for leaving your review. We are very sorry to hear of your disappointment with your collection and have refunded you for them."

These have been absolutely wonderful - and still flowering. Just when I think the argyranthemum are finished they throw out another lot of flowers in multi-shades of pink and red. Lovely!

I planted these in two big terracotta pots at either side of my front door. I was apprehensive as the flowers were slow to come, it's an east-facing/semi shaded site and I'm in Scotland, but first the lavender then the Argyranthemum flowered and now they're both going strong, an absolutely lovely combination that make me happy every time I go in and out of the house!

We've had nothing but compliments for this pot. It lasted well into November and looked stunning.

This is by far my favourite container in my garden. The changing of the pink through to red of the Argyranthemum sitting amongst the blue of the lavender is so pretty. The seedlings arrived in perfect condition and with clear instructions which was perfect for a complete novice gardener like me.
