A vigorous, evergreen climber with a beautiful fragrance – like melon crossed with jasmine.
|Common Name||Sausage vine|
|Soil Type||Acid, Chalky, Sandy, Alkaline, Clay, Neutral|
|Site||Full Sun, Shade|
|Moisture||Well-drained, Moist but Well-drained|
|Care Tips||During late spring and early summer these have the potential to put on metres of new growth. Don't be too tempted to chop it right back, as you will lose the benefit of lovely scented blooms. The trick is to cut each of these new growths back to just 2 or 3 leaves, as this is where the following year's flowers will appear.|
|Flowering||April - May|
