Slow to flower

Reviewed 7th November 2017 by J Sanderson

I planted these in a large tub on a south-facing patio; it's now early November and they're only just coming into flower. I've moved them to the shelter of a wall in the hope they escape getting caught by frosts. My flower buds are all purple though. I've no lime green coming through. I probably wouldn't try these again. Too much foliage for little return.

Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:

"Thank you for taking time to review our site, we are sorry to hear of your disappointment with your Sea Urchin Collection. We would expect them to start flowering from late October undercover and then continue through until the end of the year, so hopefully yours will soon be all showing colour.
If we can help you in any way please do contact our customer service team at or by calling 0345 092 0283 and our team will assist you further.
Kind Regards, The Sarah Raven Team"
