Disappointing. Grown in large pot, results very varied, some bulbs never produced flowers, some flowers over v. quickly. Largest had good colour and lasted better.

The plants arrived well protected and in good condition. They quickly grew and I have been enjoying the lovely purple colour and fragrance of my Catmint in a planter . My cats enjoy the fragrance of the plant also and sit close by.

I planted these tulips in layers and the first up were wonderful and strong as were the 2nd in a different way but the third horrible. It may have been not enough nutrient for 3 layers.
Also the first up did not age well turning a brownish hue OK but not brilliant.
Also scent seemed negligible.

All flowered at long different intervals and parrot type tulip was bizarre.... a mutated version of a tulip. I sent you a photo. The scent from the other ones was lovely and SR did refund my whole order but disappointed with the show of bulbs, I thought they were going to all be a spectacular show together.

Vibrant Colours

Fantastic colours, my favourite is Ballerina which has stood up better to the unusual hot weather over the last few days. I would agree with the last reviewer that the parrot tulips are not standing up well, they are too big and blousy although a fabulous colour.

Beautiful collection

Reviewed 10th May 2018 by Rachael Oxbury

These are lovely - the Ballerina are exquisitely tall and elegant, and the parrot tulips have the most amazing, huge, blousy flowers. Only criticism would be that the heads almost seem too big on the latter and the stems cannot hold them, so they droop when growing. All of the varieties lasted well as cut flowers.

excellent for scent

Brown Sugar and, of course, Ballerina are wonderful for scent - Avignon Parrot not so. Big strong plants. However, I do not think they look good together - as Sugar dies down its sickly brown looks terrible with the brilliant orange Ballerina (I got only 4 or these and 11 of Sugar!). Better to plant different types alone or with contrasting colours.

Excellent quality

Very beautiful tulips with an amazing scent which permeates through the open doors on warm April days. I'll definitely buy these again. Colours are amazing, in pots looked superb under planted with parrot tulips of a complementary colour.
