I planted all 15 in one pot expecting to get a mass display of colour.
Disappointingly only 3 flowered. Lot of foliage. Very pretty and colourful but poor result from 15 bulbs.
I’m wondering if I should repot them or leave them alone and see what happens next year.

I tried planting half the bulbs in a container and the other half in a bed. Those in the container were great but only a few of those in the bed flowered.

Planted these bulbs are per instuction on web site for sarah raven, grew a green leaf then nothing more happened, eventually the leaf went brown so i dug them up.

2sucra dahlia plants purchased fro Sarah R, did not flower nor grow to height expected, just sat there inspite of Sun, watering, and feed. Very disappointed.

Ordered dahlia marmalade but plant grew a tall pink flower which wasn't What I'd asked for, someone put wrong plant in packet labelled marmalade. Very disappointed

I planted my newly purchased bulbs a fortnight ago - but unfortunately, field mice and/or shrews are burrowing into the potting soil every night to excavate and eat the bulbs... So, not sure if any of these beauties will be around to flower come summer

I bought these last year and they grew very well in a large rimmed plastic pot. I covered with some pea shingle. The colours are amazing yellows, wine reds and purples. Looking forward to them flowering this year, the leaves have emerged.
